Eugene lost 27kgs in 40 weeks!*
I joined the Jenny Craig Program at the end of February, following the advice of a friend of mine, who had joined some weeks earlier, and who had found instant success with impressive weight losses in her first few weeks. Prior to joining, I had seen my weight increase slowly over the years from 75kgs to over 100kgs, due mainly to a desk bound office job and a general lack of energy or enthusiasm, and although I had tried to reduce weight over the years, I had clearly not been successful by reducing my daily intake to one meal a day.
I started the program on the 7000kJ plan, and was immediately impressed by the quality and variety of choice of the food. Although I immediately started losing weight, I always felt bloated and struggled to ever eat everything on the menu. I then switched to the 6400kJ plan, and although I lost weight consistently, I still felt overly full. After switching yet again to the 5000kJ plan I finally felt more comfortable and could eat everything on my menu, without feeling bloated or unsatisfied.
In the 10 months I have been on the diet I have lost in excess of 27kgs, I exercise much more, and actually look forward to it. My self-esteem and self-image have also improved, as has my demeanour to other people. I think this is largely due to the attentiveness, professionalism and attention to detail shown by my mentor during this time, and to whom I will always be grateful for the understanding they have shown, and for the information they have imparted and for all the many other things they have taught me during this time.
