I lost 14.6kgs*
In January this year, my mother and I were racing go-karts at the Australia Day Cup at Townsville, when we had to weigh my kart and I. In karting every class has a minimum weight and the more you weigh the slower you go. On this day, I was 30 kgs over the minimum weight for my class. This was such a shock to both my mother and I, as we always knew I was a little over the weight limit.
The turning point was when mum came back from Gladstone where our friend had joined Jenny Craig and she saw how wonderfully well he was doing on the program and how wonderful the food was.
My mum and I decided to do it together in February this year, I wanted to be more competitive at karting and was sick of people making fun of my because of my weight. People thought it was funny to come and tease me about my weight at the track, especially when I came last. At school, kids would tease me about how fat I was and how my fat would jiggle when I played any sport including basketball.
I have really enjoyed the Jenny Craig program, as I can cook all the meals, which helps mum when she was busy with work. The food is great and I get to choose my menu, so the things I don't like I don't have to eat.
Over the last seven months I have lost nearly 14 kgs. I am about to start the transition part of the program, where I learn how to eat less of Jenny's food and more of everyday foods and to make better choices.
Everyone comments on how much better I look and I do feel so much better, I can run on the basketball court all game long and am much more competitive with my racing, I am no longer coming last and am beating drivers who are 15kgs less than I am.
If you are a teenager and are sick of the way you look, join Jenny Craig, both my mum and I are really happy with the program.
Thanks Jenny!
